Organization Identity & Mission

People Voice Ground Movement ("PVGM") is a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Florida and designated to operate as a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization under the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is to promote social welfare, public participation, civic engagement, and community empowerment throughout targeted communities in Florida and beyond. As a 501(c)(4) entity, PVGM primarily furthers the common good and general welfare of our communities through advocacy, education, and public outreach consistent with social welfare purposes.

Important Notice: PVGM is not a 501(c)(3) public charity; contributions to PVGM are not tax-deductible as charitable donations under federal tax law. Our work focuses on community improvement, public policy education, and civic initiatives that serve broad segments of the public.

Federal Tax-Exempt Status—Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(4)

Under IRC Section 501(c)(4), PVGM qualifies as a social welfare organization. To maintain this status:

To fulfill IRS requirements, PVGM filed the required Notice of Intent to Operate Under Section 501(c)(4) (IRS Form 8976) within 60 days of establishment and will maintain compliant reporting practices.

Florida State Compliance & Reporting

PVGM complies with applicable Florida statutes governing solicitation and nonprofit transparency. In accordance with Florida Statutes Section 106.0701, certain individuals associated with PVGM who solicit contributions must file disclosure statements with the state and ensure public transparency of contributions and expenditures on our website within required timelines.

PVGM also adheres to Florida's charitable solicitation laws as outlined in Chapter 496, which include initial registration, annual renewal, financial disclosures, and officer certifications as required for organizations soliciting funds in the state.

We are committed to ethical fundraising and will not knowingly accept contributions from prohibited sources in line with recent Florida nonprofit fundraising regulations.
